Due to the small size of our hostel, the reception has limited working hours.
Check in is from 15,00 to 22,00. You’re welcome to drop off your bag before the room is ready, but please note that past 22,00 check in is not guaranteed and must be agreed with the property in advance (extra fees may be applied). If you’re planning to arrive later than 22,00, we strongly recommend contacting us before making the booking.

For the standard rate : 48 hours before check in. Failure to notify us of the cancelation before that time will result in a penalty of the first night.

For non refundable rate plan:  you will be charged in advance, apart from the city taxes of 2,50€ /person/night which is paid upon arrival. You will be unable to modify this type of booking.

Our reception is open from 8 to 23 during that time you can drop off/leave your luggage and pick it up later

We provide small lockers (30x40x40 cm approx.) for your valuables. The locker comes with the key, so you don’t need to bring your padlock.

We don’t ask for any deposit, but if you lose the keys there will be 10 euro penalty

With the keys and keypad code we provide, you can access the hostel at any time. Please note that kitchen and common spaces will be locked at nighttime (from 23,00 to 8,00)

The closest free parking is about 20 minutes walking to the hostel, in “piazza d’armi”. There’re few buses to get to the city center (called “Via Chiodo”).

Parking areas and shuttle buses in La Spezia

It’s about a 15 minute walk:
Turn left out of La Spezia Centrale and walk down the hill until you reach the crossing to Piazza Saint Bon, then take the pedestrian street (Via del Prione) all the way to the end. You will see a garden across the road but turn left and walk one block to Via Daniele Manin. You will see Banca Passadore on one side and a farmacia (pharmacy) on the other. The door to the hostel is between the farmacia and the restaurant ‘Bolle in Pentola’, at number 8.
You can also take bus number 3 from the station to the ‘via chiodo giardini’ bus stop.

There is a bus service from the flixbus stop to the city center that takes less than 10 minutes.

Alternatively it is around a 30 minute walk, just turn right out of the flixbus carpark and walk along ‘Via Giosuè Carducci’ until you reach Viale Italia, here you should turn left and walk past McDonalds. When you reach the end of the harbour you need to turn right and cross through the gardens to ‘Via Domenico Chiodo’. Cross this road and take a slight right to find ‘Via Daniele Manin’ between Banca Passadore and a farmacia (pharmacy). The door of the hostel is between the pharmacy and the restaurant ‘Bolle in Pentola’, at number 8.

Towels are provided on request, free of charge

Yes, we do. Wash and dry cost 8 euro per load. (We’ll take care of everything.)
